Game of Thrones wins record 8 Creative Arts Emmys

Game of Thrones and American Horror Story: Freak Show dominated the 2015 Creative Arts Emmys with 8 and 5 wins respectively. Game of Thrones had 17 nominations and out of those, it won a record 8 and has set the stage for 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on the 20th. The awards were dominated by HBO, which won 29 Creative Arts Emmys , followed by NBC with 11.

  • Outstanding secial visual effects
  • Outstanding stunt coordination for a drama series, limited series or movie
  • Outstanding sound mixing for a comedy or drama series (one hour)
  • Outstanding sound editing for a series
  • Outstanding single-camera picture editing for a drama series
  • Outstanding makeup for a single-camera series (non-prosthetic)
  • Outstanding casting for a drama series
  • Outstanding production design for a narrative contemporary or fantasy program (one hour or more)
